Deciduous tree, 6-15 m; lancelote leaves; pink flowers in early spring ;peach like fruit ,smaller and less fleshy.

Uses

Fruits edible (fresh or dried); oil extracted from seed ;used in traditonal medicine; also grown as rootstock for peaches.
